Dear Class of ’83 alumni, Guess what the year 2008 commemorates? Yup, it’s been 25 years since we graduated from the slopes of Kalaipohaku’s rugged slopes. It’s time for the The Class of ’83 to gather once again to celebrate our 25th Class Reunion highlighted by a full weekend of great events. Go ahead and mark your calendars with these “Big Weekend” dates.
** Times of each event will be communicated at a later date** A fee of $300 per classmate will cover the cost for the entire weekend. Of course we also want your significant other and/or family to join us at selected events. Enclosed is an “Event Response Card” that breaks down the cost for yourself and cost associated with including your significant others. Please fill out the event card and mail it back to us with your payment to: Class of 83 c/o David Higashiguchi As part of a St Louis Reunion tradition, we will be making a donation to the St Louis School Endowment on behalf of the Class of 1983. We would like to initially donate $10,000 from the class. At a minimum, we are asking for a separate donation of $50 from each class member attending the reunion. If you can give more to the school, that would be great. The committee members below are committing $500 each, and in addition, some of their classmates that they keep in contact with are being asked to do the same. If you are one of our "lucky friends", you will find a separate letter enclosed. If you do not find a separate letter, but can give $$$$ to the school (which really needs the help), that would be greatly appreciated. For all of you out-of-town guys, start making your plans for the dates above. We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hawaii Prince Hotel for $160/night for the Reunion weekend (June 18-23, 2008).
